Os presento el libro de "Los Bosques de la Serranía de Ronda", con 623 páginas de información de primera mano y reciente sobre estos escosistemas en esta zona privilegiada de la Península Ibérica, encrucijada de caminos biogeográficos y humanos.
En este libro contribuyo con tres capítulos de los que adjunto portada del primero, que abre el libro, junto a Noelia Hidalgo y Baltasar Cabezudo, sobre "Biogeografía y Bosques de la Serranía de Ronda", donde se catalogan los tipos de bosques existentes, con sus características florísticas, ecológicas, funcionales y otras consideraciones ambientales.
Los otros dos capitulos tratan sobre caracteres funcionales de Abies pinsapo y sobre los incendios en Sierra de Alpujata (Málaga, España).

I present the book "Los Bosques de la Serranía de Ronda", with 623 pages of first-hand and recent information on these ecosystems in this privileged area of the Iberian Peninsula, a crossroads of biogeographical and human paths.
In this book I contribute three chapters, of which I attach the cover of the first, which opens the book, together with Noelia Hidalgo and Baltasar Cabezudo, on "Biogeography and Forests of the Serranía de Ronda", where the existing types of forests are cataloged, with its floristic, ecological, functional characteristics and other environmental considerations.
The other two chapters deal with the functional characters of Abies pinsapo and the fires in Sierra de Alpujata (Málaga, Spain).
